My strange experience at Huddersfield PDF Print E-mail

I must apologies for not getting in a rant for a while, so I will get a couple of things off my chest.

Where did we leave it?
Right I had just run through Alan to score and we had beaten Fylde for the first time in ages.

Since the Fylde match we have had a bit of a rollercoaster ride in performance. The week after, we recorded a win over Broadstreet away, without Leroy who had escaped to the Alps to enjoy his father's birthday, and Voorts left early to catch a plane to join them.
Following the win away, we entertained Waterloo at home with another win.
Now I think the real talking point will be the Huddersfield game. This game is a little bit of a reason for me being late with the blog. The journey over was going well, until we passed along the M62. Under the large viaduct we had the misfortune to see some poor soul minutes after he had landed on a lorry from a long drop. This was very stomach turning and I think mentally may have had an adverse effect on us all.
As we got to Huddersfield I remember we dropped our bags off in the changing rooms and met in the middle of the pitch. We warmed up and then kicked off. To be honest, that is all I can remember until Monday morning.
As I am told, in to the match I started complaining not being able to see properly, after taking a bang or two to the head. On Monday morning, jumped in my car to find I could not touch the pedals or steering wheel so Matt Charters had to drive me home, changing my plans to get to Lytham for a birthday.
The worrying thing to come from the weekend was - Voorts breaking his hand. Personally it was my loss of motor skills for 48 hours.
The events from the weekend meant I was forced to miss the County U15’s Match against Durham at Wigton.
The next week we trained well, and Thursday's run-through seemed to go well. We followed training with a BBQ to help us enjoy the weather.

We have since endured a lose of form running into the end of the season.
